SO IT BEGINS Anthology

SoItBegins

“So It Begins,” the second installment, of what I hope will be many more, picks up were its predecessor left of in  the anthology “Breach The Hull.”

This was a fun read for me that I enjoyed coming back to over and over again. Often military science fiction war stories tend to be heavy fare, filled with great world building and technical details. “So It Begins” has it all, the brilliant plotting and world building as well as more emotional punch then you can shake a stick at.

Fantastic, captivating and stimulating reading from cover to cover. This anthology offered a much needed distraction from this reviewers daily grind and pulled me into new and vivid worlds with each story.

The key to the success of this anthology is its flawless writing and exceptional characterization.

Two stories that I devoured and shared where the entries by CJ Henderson and  Bud Sparhawk. Henderson’s story “Everything’s Better With Monkey’s” has a crew putting on the show of a lifetime. This is a wonderful piece of writing.

“The Glass Box by Sparhawk about a Marine trying to rescue a girl left behind enemy lines had me at the edge of my seat. It had one of the most shocking endings I have read in years.

So It Begins” has a bit of everything for everyone. Highly recommended.
